Slaughter Gig Cancelled
Where to start man? Fuck this particular venue! I took the opportunity to catch a gig being played by none other than Slaughter with Great White headlining. First off, I got tix last minute as I wasn't sure if the current line up of each group would be worth seeing. Tix were 40 bucks which is highwa...

Dude, I know this slide is nothing special or out there. But at this point, it is very much so to me. It was killer finding someone to print the original. Here's the a photo of my print, hoping it will look rad framed. Enjoy peeps

Does it have as much gain as you want? Honestly, it's hard to tell. I'm still messing with the EQ adjustments. The cleans are just on another level, super bright and plenty of pop and I was using a Fender prior so that says a lot. It has the gain you just gotta get to where it's not lost in the bot...

My search for one of these bad boyz came to end....wanted the grey carpet series from the early 90s with hot rod tuners and boost. Although I can't say I'm displeased with this one given this was built just before those. This particular model is from 88' and it came with the original channel pedal. ...

Re: Random Slide
Nice, that is a new one for me. Interesting mix of equipment. The Carvin X100 does it for me. I figured Marshalls were his go to on the first record along with possibly Laney gear given to him for studio work. I recently just acquired an all original X100B built in 88' with the matching footswitch....

Recently came across this slide. It is a kodachrome slide that I need to have printed. Not to familiar in this field, but considering it's the original processesd slide with the handwritten dates. I have to assume I'm the only one in possession of this print. Hoping the print is decent size to frame.

Am I wrong or did Vinnie swipe that jacket from Dana from back in the Invasion daze on that interview? I swear Dana was wearing that leopard jacket during their hosting of Heavy Metal music half hour on MTV back in 86'.... I keep tripping on that every time I see that interview come up.

The Invasion invaded on that debut. Though the unmixed ASG would have been close had they released it with the harmonies and solos, such a heavy thick bottom how it's supposed to sound.

In '89 KISS weren't doing much before Hot In The Shade which is why Paul did his first little solo tour. My bad I meant the Invasion? I've been wanting to rebuild my Dean ZX for somtime, I decided to metal flake the whole body a dark ruby red, as well as the headstock. It's a common trick. KISS show pics of themselves on the Asylum world tour, that went nowhere outside the US and Canada. I have the Smashes, Thrashes t-shirt which says "Live Tour '89" on the back and there was not even a tour for that album, though it was fairly successful for them at the time som...

I can respect all the different moods . I prefer Vinnie with no boundaries. That's exactly why I love the unmixed album! It's the album homeboy intended to put out. Raw tones, heart melting melodies, with hooks n harmonies that could compete with Pyromania. Chrysalis bottled him up to keep the wiza...

I love the solo as well, has the same feel through that whole album with Love Kills, Time Of Year Etc. I can appreciate the tame sensibilities, but the unmixed versions have all the bridges as well as a lot of the backing tracks on those takes. They def had the momentum to get big n tour heavy, he w...

Ectasy n' ASG
You gotta admit, if you strip that track of its vocals you gotta a really guitar heavy song. The unmixed version is the one, his tone on that version is how that album should have turned out along with the rest of ASG.
