True! 350 and above, I pass, except if it’s a very good instrument.
But it’s fun to collect matsumoku-like guitars for cheap. That Roadstar Ibanez RS 100 for 60$, with case for example...

Takeuchi Floyds, that sounds good.
Floyds have to pass the flutter test. Most of licensed Floyds fail at it, partly because of a loose trem bar.

Re: Washburn RR / Bob Kulick ad
I don’t think so. I’ve got a B70 Rudy Sarzo Washburn bass that seems to have a phenolic fretboard, and it’s very different. I’d say rosewood here.
The wonderbar is so much better than a crappy Floyd. Kind of exotic, huge, I like it.

Missing the young days, yes. I’ll get my Washburn RR I talked about in another thread soon.
Meanwhile I’ve ordered a yellow HM strat, funny you talked about HM strats... I have to show some pics when it’s here.

...that is the question! I have this RR1 with a few scratches, dings, small crack close the low E tuner. I’ m thinking about painting it pink, just like one of Vinnie ´s pink RRs. Something reversible, easy to remove, just in case... Didn’t Vinnie paint his RRs himself, after all ? C3272DD6-96C8-4C3...

I still have my gold RR1 #30, and the case is huge, true! Maybe bigger than Jackson cases, and heavier too.
About those RR ads, I think it’ s the same guitar, the second one is ended, and the first one is the actual available. Seems to be Mark’s guitar, cool!

Funny, I’ve just drawn the cracked mirror design from a picture last night. I’ve counted 154 pieces. I’ve got to find a technique to cut the pieces from mirrors I found at Ikea (swedish shop famous here in Europe). Nice mirrors, thin, cheap, good quality. 154 pieces... Yes, two, but the second one (120) feels completely different : tuners, bindings, logos on the back of the headstock, fretboard inlays, neckjoint, neck thickness, knobs, jackplate, or even painting... everything is under. I think it was 1993. Nobody wanted to buy that guitar from me, and I thought I was free to do what I wanted with it. That was stupid of course. Same thing happened with a Fender strat I still have. There was something fashionable in butchering guitars at that time... Today I have a bunch of guitars,...

That’s something to consider, you’re right. The VVV is 11 lbs (5kg.100). Good for fitness! The PS-10 will be better : 6.5lbs now, parts(strings, pu, screws, bridge and everything) are 2.2 lbs. So I have to be careful with the filler.... Mirrors are too heavy, and too hard to work on ( I’ve read Paul...

I remember about Tom’s last post, the case wasn’t closed. VV has to explain all that.
