Another rare gem; just wondering if any of you were familiar with these guys, they only had one album. I just love them.

Post card from the 80's. I don't remember this band but they sound like what the 80's were all about

What year? Everybody knows Steve Vai played on Eat 'Em and Smile and Skyscraper, as for Lil' Ain't Enough that was Jason Becker and then Joe Holmes toured with him, after that everything fades into obscurity.

I think he's in the Sensable Shoes vid? I remember there were two guitarists in the vid. But I could be wrong as its years since I last saw it.

Has anyone read the David Lee Roth book? It's on my list of books to read. I'm not big into books except for Behind the Mask and The Dirt

Roth's book was ok, read it years ago then lent it out and lost it.

My impression was that he was trying to convince us how worldly and smart he is.

I have it. I agree that a majority of the book is spent creating a character portrait for the world in which he is THE ultimate hipster. Smarter, funnier, more worldly and more creative than everyone...all men should want to be him and all women should want to fuck him.
But there are a lot of cool stories and details between all hype.
And let's face it, Diamond Dave is the king of braggarts, so why should his book be any different?

That's all good and well except for the fact that Dave isn't into females.

DLR is quite smart and he is obviously Worldly. Growing up with money probably helped.
That guy knows how to live.I'm sure he is no stranger to most experiences.

He was living in a mansion before VH was huge because of his father, DR. Roth

To get back to the original post, I had that Beau Nasty cassette. I picked it up after hearing their cover of Love Potion #9.
It was a fairly solid if not wholelly unremarkable entry in the over-crowded hair metal market. There were certainly worse hair metal bands out there and I like the sound they achieved on this recording, but there really isn't unique about them as a band.

He sounds a little like a Vai and Vito Bratta mix.
