Winger heading for a heartbreak
Winger heading for a heartbreak
Just a warning don't listen to winger's heading for a heartbreak. By the end of the solo you will either have snakes coming out of your skull or you will try to assassinate the president of Indo China

You sound like Vic!!!!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I"m sure Kip is a lot more manly these days, but we are talking about original Winger band, where a great band is playing sappy crap for the teen girls.

I have a pre winger story. When they were Sahara. I saw winger three times on their first album tour and really found them boring live but I guess they were headlining with not much material available to them

Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
I think it's the production that ruined the winger album. Should have been a bit heavier and less keyboards. More dokken but hey if it was heavier most likely non of us would even be talking about winger as they would have just disappeared into the abyss. I guess it did what it needed to do.

Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
It was the lyrics too for me. Saw them live when they opened for Ratt in Sydney and it was bad.

I think that you may need to re-visit this Vic?
Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
You bet brother!
Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
Yeah, that is much cooler, and it sounds good too, but I never had a problem with their production. Just their super sappy lyrics. This is better, but it's still not looking like I'll be a fan. Great musicians obviously.

I love this song sooooooooo much
It's Dan Reed Network mixed with cool fusion progressive rock.

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Danni, I'm also a big fan. This band is so talented and Kip is multi-talented
and and and and he is busy and productive...

I have one of those Jackson Australian lancewood winger basses. Actually an amazing bass to play, feels so much easier to play then most basses.
He seems to have a different pick up configuration here.
Also nice to see the arri 16mm cameras in the first clip

I hear ya, but when they opened for Ratt in Sydney in 2007 it was highly processed American Cheese that they delivered.
Kinda ironic when it was Ratt they were playing with. It's hard to sneak a piece of cheese past a hungry Ratt!!

Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
That would have been a fun post-show time! I have friends in both bands, lol. How can I post a YouTube vid here? I forgot how to use those tags.
Re: Winger heading for a heartbreak
Use the video icon, pictured below, to post youtube stuff. If it's a direct link it should work for most videos.
I filmed the Ratt show and put it on Youtube. As it was Ratt I really wanted I didn't tape Winger in case I got busted. If I knew I could have gotten away with both I would have filmed Winger for sure, but didn't want to risk losing my camera on the opening band I was only mildly interested in.

Nice! Just saw RATT late last year with their new guitar players Chris and Jordan. They kicked ass!
