Kerrang UK/Metal Magazine Australia 1990
Interview that was printed in various mags.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I posted these on the old board so still had them on my photobucket page. It was easy to post here. By the sound of it Brooklyn Born (& others here) has a lot more than me stored away. I think my eyes will pop when they get posted!

might be the print...
Re: Kerrang UK/Metal Magazine Australia 1990
i am 99.99999% sure that guitar was once pink.
Re: Kerrang UK/Metal Magazine Australia 1990
I've always wanted to ask this question, but keep on forgetting to...But why does Vinnie have the truss rod cover removed from his guitars I noticed this in a lot of photos.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

Re: Kerrang UK/Metal Magazine Australia 1990
Yes I wondered that too! And why do so many guys remove the trem cover off the back side of the body??? Does various temperature/humidity changes when they tour affect the trem springs that much that they have to adjust them??? Adjusting the neck I can understand but the trem springs??? I've only removed my cover to take the trem off to give it a thorough cleaning!

Re: Kerrang UK/Metal Magazine Australia 1990
The trem spring cover was an 80's thing. Some guitars, espcially signature models of a particlular artist never had the trem cover screwed in. No holes, just the depression where you could put the cover.
All my guitars have the cover on save my old faithfull, which Russ hastily made a plastic cover for and still owes me a brushed aluminium cover for. I took the plastic off and played it for 8 years without a cover. It felt very 80's.
The truss rod cover, no idea. It looks messy and you generally aren't messing around with it that often. That one I don't see a lot, just with Vinnie.

Regarding the lack of plastic covers on the guitars:
I think it just has to do with keeping with that Raw look that everybody wanted to
have back then, and pretty much instigated by E. Van Halen of course...

And eddie used to scrape and bash the springs to get weird noises.

I just think it's easier not to keep fucking with a little screw and plastic plate. Throw them away.

Those persons on the band were really really really bad, lol he still says the same thing today.
everyone is bad according to Vinnie, so Dana was the 80's Dino. Same thing happened to Dino
then Dino was the bad guy lol. Vinnie never changes and he will never change.

Hot Metal was a magazine in Australia in the 90's.
