Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
Is that a box in the image? Is it yours?
I know there is one or two boxes floating around. Where did they come from? Does anybody know?

Les sanglots longs des violons de l'automne blessent mon coeur d'une langueur monotone. Tout suffocant et blême, quand sonne l'heure, je me souviens des jours anciens et je pleure.
Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
Ludivine, that is not the box set, that is someone trying to get an insane price for the otherwise lame Speedball Jam, which was released as Volume One of the archives.
The fact that he made people who bought the box set have to buy this afterwards, and that it's really crap, did not help the box set debacle.
Of course it might be lame but we need it in our collections, ha ha.
Is that price even ball park close to reality?
I got mine a long time ago for $10 or $20 and it was signed so I didn't mind adding it to my collection.
When I saw this price I was thinking it must come with one of the super rare boxes. But it doesn't. The box is super rare, the CD isn't as far as I know.

I know it's not the box set ! But I saw the cd in the pic above. Why the fans who bought the box set did not get this cd for free ? For the moment nothing new about the box set.Genebaby wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 9:44 am Ludivine, that is not the box set, that is someone trying to get an insane price for the otherwise lame Speedball Jam, which was released as Volume One of the archives.

Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
I see. Well, the box and this CD pretty much go together. I'm sure if you had three box you'd have the CD.
Sure, Vinnie could have given the box set buyers this disc. It's got crap on it, but at least it would have been something, a start.
They were told rather coldly that their business with Vinnie was done, after he stopped giving delay information.
Speedball Jam should not exist, we don't need that re-released. Nobody rightly wants more Speedball Jam instead of real music.

I heard an annoucement about speedball jam is coming. Nothing about the box set yet.

Is it your box? Is there anything on those cassettes?
I know there was a box at the last event, I'm guessing it's this one?

Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
Those who ordered the box set did not get it. So, maybe this is from VV old stock or a home made bootleg.
This looks old.

There has been an empty box in existence for a long time.
The tapes look very home made.

Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
Cool if they're real...I guess?
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Re: Vinnie Vincent Archives (Box set)
We don't know what they are. The tapes do not look professionally made to me.
