American band Kiss ended a concert in Vienna on Sunday with a cultural blunder when they thanked their Austrian fans with an image of the Australian flag.
The glam rock legends ended the show by projecting the Kiss logo - featuring the colours and symbols of the Australian flag, including the Union Jack and Southern Cross - on a giant screen behind the stage, alongside the text: 'Kiss Loves You Vienna.'
One unamused Austrian fan later tweeted: 'Americans and geography!'
It really is time to call it the end.

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

That's in a bunch of my news feeds. I wonder who's job it is to arrange the graphics and get the flag for the country they are in. It won't be anyone in the band, so someone in the crew is going to get some flack. Unless it was planned as a media stunt, or unplanned, but they are ok to be in the news about and promote the tour etc.

About time someone got it wrong that way around! Usually we get confused with Austrians!
Bush Jr and Biden! History will show neither were actually in charge!

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I go see them in a few weeks in Nyon Paleo, Switzerland. Perhaps they’ll write «Kiss loves you Paleo » on a swedish flag. Very common mistake…

My shows with the kids are in August in Australia, almost 3 years since I got the tickets.
