I am not a fan of Thayer and Singer using the make-up and playing/acting like the original guys. I'd be way more into it if they let them create their own characters and incorporate their own playing styles. (Maybe they will with MONSTER?)

However, as much as it sickens me that he is in the band doing what he's doing, I'm actually amazed at how Tommy has synthesized the stereotypical Ace Frehley sound. I mean...he sounds more like Ace Frehley than Ace Frehley. And I think it works pretty well on most of the songs.

It's like when Kevin Pollack does his impersonation of William Shatner. Pollack actually sounds more like what my mind hears when I think of Shatner than Shatner.
