Just spoke to bk about it
Thanks Dino. Nevision the producer didn't care for it. It was covered by Loverboy's guitar player.
Bye Bye
Re: KISS-SWORD AND STONE
Both movie and song are from '87:

Cool. Nevison was a dipshit for not including that one.doublev2 wrote:Just spoke to bk about itThanks Dino. Nevision the producer didn't care for it. It was covered by Loverboy's guitar player.
Re: KISS-SWORD AND STONE
for me the chorus was too similar to "burnin heart " by survivor

Re: KISS-SWORD AND STONE
Paul wrote this w/ Lover boy guitarist Paul Dean, Paul Dean later did his version on his solo album ! I think this version sounds bigger and better !! Im happy Paul Stanley decided not to put up the KISS version on any album.

Re: KISS-SWORD AND STONE
I like the song but I never thought it sounded like a "KISS" song.
I also didn't know it was on the He-Man movie soundtrack!! That's awesome...because it's pretty clearly a metaphor for fugging and it's on the soundtrack of a kid's movie.

To know what you've been missing
Come out of the shadows
Insecurity lies
In a heart afraid to listen

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
