Yer, but everyone else, even the slack jawed Ace, got a (antecedent of the pronoun) descriptive introduction. Even if some where just 'the great, Bruce Kulick, the great, Eric Singer). Vinnie got no such introduction.
It's seems to just be a situation where Gene had to say his name, Vinnie Vincent & that was that.
KISS definitely is an example where the sum of a each individual doesn't equal the whole part.
In recent times, Gene & Paul's solo albums are proof of that. No KISS member does as good when they are on their own. I suppose then, VV sort of did OK as a Solo artist.
I still believe that VV did help KISS regain momentum in the mid/early 80's. For that he should have got a little more of a mention.

i would have 'so' wanted to see the originals without make up playing live. That would have been such a funny gig.
