Vivian Campbell

Post by poserboy71 »

I sent this to Vivian Campbell via Facebook. A simple and quick answer makes a happy fan.

Vivian,
Hoping all is well with you.
I just wanted to say a quick THANK YOU in regards to you trying to bring out the old Charvel from yesteryear. Over the last few tours, I have spoken to you a few times in regards of bringing out the Charvel and the original Lester. Just seeing that you took them to rehearsals shows that you really consider what your fans say. I know I am not alone in my love of those two instruments. Those guitars are still full of good mojo and your playing while utilizing them will always hold a special place inside of my heart. I look forward to seeing you play the original LP in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. I look forward to hearing your music for many years to come. Blessings to you.

Much appreciated, Rick Schobel

Vivian Campbell Thanks. I've been playing the old LP with Last In Line, but didn't bring it on the Lep tour this time.

Vivian Campbell I'm saving it for those original Dio-era songs

Shecky Poon As well you should. Maybe just bring the Charvel and sit it in a stand on the drum riser for the LIL shows. Let's come to a compromise.LOL

Niiiiiice!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

I have met him and had long, unhurried, conversations. He is a great guy. He even remembered our talks and my handsome mug.
We breath the same air and are humans. It is nice that he isn't above anyone. He even answers his fans as himself.

That cool Rick!
I really liked Vivian Campbell & was upset when he had left Dio & I was going to my first concert. Last in Line tour.
Must say I was pleasantly surprised by his replacement Graig Goldy. Man Graig, is a monster player too.

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

I believe you meant to say the Sacred Heart Tour where Viv started it then was replaced mid-tour by Goldie.

Yeah, Craig was no slouch! I remember a Yamaha catalog where he had a Pacifica model.
