An Eric Carr story:
I went to high school with a guy who was a HUGE fan of KISS. He was a senior while I was a freshman.
He and some friends had backstage passes to KISS when they came through our area for Asylum tour.
The guy's grandfather passed a few days before the show and the funeral was the day of the concert, so he didn't get to go.
His friends met Eric Carr backstage at the show and told him about what had happened. Eric called his house, gave his condolences and chatted for a few minutes.
I don't know if the story is true...kids can make up stories sometimes, ya know...but everything I've read and heard about Eric Carr leads me to believe that it was well within the realm of possible.
