Holy exploding sundials Batman, this just in!!!
In 73/74, as KISS was forming, Vinnie was in a band called Talk O The Town, and here they are:
Vinnie Vincent(Guitar/right) Al Ferrante(Guitar/left) Rich Creadore(Bass) Joe Sullivan(Drum’s).
Al Ferrante says: Vinnie and I Sang. Vinnie has a great voice besides his incredible guitar playing, writing, and producing!
For those of us interested in the gear Al also says: We are both using Ampeg VT-22 amps and vintage Gibson ES-335’s!!!

Al Ferrante...Vinnie's "twin brother".
Al still gigs and teaches in Connecticut.
He was John Mayers' teacher.

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I'd not heard of him before, that I remembered, but good to see he's still out there and doing it after all these years.
Vinnie really did try and make things happen before, getting to Hollywood eventually and then into KISS, which was the springboard to VVI. Even without KISS he would have been in a band but of course being in KISS no matter what is better than not.
Strange choice of guitar, I've never been into those ES guitars, but plenty of people played them and they seemed to get by, ha ha.

Not looking for attention here guy's....but it was I that leaked the 1st picture on the Euphoria Website the other day, Al Ferrante is actually a Good Friend of Mine and supplied me with those pictures, Al is an Amazing Guitarist who also "Played & Toured" with Edgar Winter ! I naturally go to his Local Gig's when he's not in the Studio Recording or Touring, I'm told the Guitar choice was due to Vinnie & Al's love for Rick Derringer and his Style of Playing....I will try to post a Special Video of Al, if I can figure out how to upload it !

Wow, thanks for being involved Ed. This is what Vinnie was doing when KISS was forming and starting out.
Both guys played for the Winter brothers later on, that's a bit crazy.
I clicked on your linnk but it says there are no videos?
There is a bit on Al and his band on YT

Hey, that was a nice one !

I love the ES-335, 345 and 355 guitars. Not a fan of the 339's though. If I had to choose my favorite one it would be a custom ES-335 with P90 pickups.Genebaby wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 11:02 am I'd not heard of him before, that I remembered, but good to see he's still out there and doing it after all these years.

Couldn't load the video, but I see that there was an issue. Vinnie was the real deal back then, too bad he couldn't just get back to the basics and just do what really matters and play the songs!

Yes, playing music is key! Playing it in key, even better!!!
