They don't like it. Good for them....didn't need to spend an hour & a half telling everyone though!
Doesn't change my feelings about it.

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

IMHO, it was not only the most anticipated metal album of the 80's, it was the best of the 80's. Some will point to Appetite for Destruction, but Appetite for Destruction did not even catch on or get serious radio play until a year after its release. The debut VVI album was extremely strong on release and only got buried due to Robert Fleischman's lawsuit.
Sadly, that is the only podcast review I have ever heard of the album. The 80's doesn't seem to hold up too well for those who didn't live through it.

Pointless exercise in stupidity.
You have one guy who 'GETS IT'
He lived through the era, understands what that period of Rock/Metal/Glametal was all about.
And then you have these two other boneheads -(DA? What is my name>) who have no fucken idea about anything. Zero, nothing, nada.
& if it wasn't for the internet and the likes of Youtube, the only lipstick they'd be aware of is the one they put on b4 the blow each other.
Critics! They pride themselves on having done nothing themselves, yet know everything about nothing.
Watch this & tell me this doesn't give you a HARD-ON!.
OMG! LOOK! WHAT! THE! CAT! DRAGGED! IN!/OUT!
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

It's very hard to not grow up in an era with a certain genres of music and actually understand it. I grew up with glam, and yet looking back on it the clothes were foolish in the music had very little serious content… but damm it was funmetatron wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 3:45 pmPointless exercise in stupidity.
