According to a lot of people (from Milanio to the liner notes, to Bobby Rock's book) there was a guy named Chuck Onkst who modified VV's amps and also was on tour throughout ASG. Bobby also notes that the amps on stage were not what was actually being used.
I was wondering if anyone has ever spoken to Chuck Onkst or tried to find him. It seems like he would be a cool person to speak to for a Q&A about Vinnie's live sound, recording process and rig.
Has anyone ever spoken to Chuck Onkst?

Sounds like a great guy to find and have a chat with!

Yeah, I would think so. In Bobby's book he sounds like he was pretty down to Earth. He's also mentioned in ASG (and maybe the first record) as modding Vinnie's amps.
He would be a great person for someone to do a Q&A with, as he was def in the studio for the recording as well as out on tour working on the amps.
