VV KISS litho

Post by VVV »

Does anyone else here have one of the large poster-sized lithos of Vinnie? It was signed by him in 2005 and was sold by Kissworld in Australia. They went out of business shortly thereafter. I have #91 and paid $175.00 for it. There were only 200 made (so they claim). It came with a certificate of authenticity.

I've never seen one for sale.

I can't believe I didn't buy this back then and I'm still kicking myself! The remaining Kiss World merchandise that wasn't sold after they folded went to an auction house in Australia and sold for next to nothing...all under value.. Lots of autographed photos bundled together and sold for a fraction of their value! They sold an autographed leather jacket from the Hits era for $500 or $600 I can't remember exactly how much it went for now..a set of boxed mego dolls for $450 many many items just cleared out...8x10 autographed photos were going for 10 bucks..crazy!!

I found out about this auction after it was over and saw a list of the auction items after they were all gone.

Oh well at least I have a Laney Vinnie Vincent poster signed by the man himself :) not as cool as the litho Kiss World poster though!

Some of the KissWorld stuff seems to have surfaced in Melbourne but I haven't heard back about what is there that pertains to Vinnie.

Your Laney poster is very cool indeed. How did you get it?

Hi there!

I obtained the Laney poster from eBay by a guy in the US that had it signed originally! It is a different lay out to the usually seen laney poster it looks pretty cool, I'll see if I can get a pic up this week for you?

I remember seeing this VV litho for sale. I certainly would buy it if they would have used a new and unknown COTN VV picture. Still its a cool poster but no so "special" to pay a lot of money for it.....

that wasn't 2005, more like 2000, 2001 or 2002. I am pretty sure anyway.

i think that picture of vv holding the poster wasn't supposed to get out according to pyro. I think it was just to prove it was VV that signed it. I heard VV wasn't pleased unless I got it wrong.

ok, thanks for that. the bad memory version of me says it was 2000 and the slightly better memory version of me is saying 2004 now. My bad memory version of myslef kind of thought I saw picture when I was living in a certain city which was in 2001 and 2002. I kind of remember being shocked a little, but it seems like my memory is incorrect.

Curious…who all here has this lithograph? And are there any others lurking out there on the Net for sale?

I have one. There is another thread where it was found in Melbourne that the old Kiss World stuff was for sale and a nice member here asked who was interested. A few of us got the Litho but they were also selling photos, but the price on those was not attractive.

One may turn up on eBay, otherwise I wouldn't know how to get one again.

In two years you can sell it to me. Soon as those left brain plans start working out.
