Vinnie Doing A G-3

Post by CGB »

Would you like to see Vinnie, Yngwie and Bonamassa or maybe EVH or Eric Gale on the same stage?

Eddie is the great innovator. They don't call Joe Bonmassa Joe Bona-Monster for nothing. Yngwie with his arpeggios from hell and Eric with his explosive creativity and mega chops would be great. (Bonamassa says Eric is the best guitarist alive today.) Vinnie with his innovative and compositional style would make the whole thing special. It would probably be the best G-3 ever. :D

If you want it too cool for words have Daniel Donato play as well.

My dream G3 would be: Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour and Eric Clapton. However, since Clapton has difficulty playing now due to his hand issues, I would substitute Steve Winwood for Clapton. Bring out Vince Gill and Johnny Hiland for a couple of songs with the three of them and I would be over the moon.

Watching him always reminds me of watching Chet when I was little.

I've been watching a lot of Tommy lately.
Just amazing.
Full shred sweep arppegios on his acoustic.
So many techniques in one song
Just incredible
