That's what I was saying. I just trolled for a mere 5 years and it appeared on Ebay 10 (I can't believe it's been 10) years ago. The auction seller was a now defunct pawn shop Mays Landing. The guitar was brought in as a pawn and they ended up keeping it.

Yes, I did end up tracking down the original owner earlier this year who placed his order through Jackson in '87 and it was produced (according to their records and serial #) in '88. He's still tring to track down the original order receipt for me. It would be nice to have.

Well then, I guess I have had the pleasure of talking to Vinnie in that case. Meredith was very nice to me. This would explain how the message was signed, which had previously confused me...
