If I could custom make it I would have mahogany top as well. No bridge pickup and a fred stuart pa1946 pickup in neck. Best pick up ever in my opinion. Loud as hell and you can get hot paf tone but so much more and a great jazz tone as well.

Dino, Dino, Dino !!!!
We agree on a guitar.
That is an incredibly functional fiddle there !!!!
Joe Perry has a recent model that is similar.

I really want tom Palecki to make me a Bigsby / les paul hybrid but I never have that much disposable cash now I have kids.

I can relate.
I have a lotof equipment, but I acquire it mostly from being a middle man or by keeping an eye on the druggies of the town.

Crazy I was actually thinking earlier this week about a neck pickup only Les Paul style guitar and chambered as well . I don't think I would do a full cap mahogany .. the stuart P90s are killer . It would have to be a white or creme cover on the pickup with the gold top.
Man now you got me thinking... that usually cost me money

damn. now i want one. I am kind of getting into Port Oxford Cedar, I know its soft but I would love a very stripped down les paul made of Port Oxford Cedar with African Blackwood board. I am starting to like African Blackwood more than Ebony but I know its more expensive than Ebony. I also kind of like the idea of a maple board on a les paul.

I love this maple les paul. I would go for a more vintage looking maple board. Preferably western curly maple
