I know Vinnie didn't use that much effects. He advertised for Ibanez effects and seemed to use a big compressor on Lick it up and the first Invasion record. I was wondering if he used an octaver too... any idea?
I searched about effects on this section and didn't find anything. Sorry if it's already been discussed!

I've learned here that he didn't play on the great Exciter solo, unfortunately.
I've never tried any octaver. Is Vinnie using one when he plays those high notes when he's alone on stage for his solo time?

Used to be a list somewhere. He used ibanez delay pedals on asg.
Steve Stevens used an octaver when I saw him in 1990.
I believe he used mesa boogie amps on liu not Marshall.

in the 80s, it was very common to take guitar tracks and feed them into an eventide harmonizer for octave doubling/harmony...
