For the love of!!!!

Post by Genebaby »

I figured I'd put this here.

I've seen this girl before but I just saw this link to her playing this Steve Vai song, which I have heard of, but never heard before. Looks like she nails it, and looks fairly casual about it as per usual.

She is flat out amazing. Compared to her I can barely play.

Ibanez fans note, Jem not required to perfect this song.

Or did she make a mistake somewhere?

Yes, she is amazing....I hate her so much! :( :P

You've never bothered to listen to For the Love of God? WTF????
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

Ha ha, yes, I'd never heard that song before, but I know the name. That's how much I'm not into Mr Vai. His playing is amazing when I see it, he's got it all going on, but I don't listen to that stuff.

Give me Vinnie or give me death!!!!

When I first saw Tina she reminded me of those Yo-yo stars from The Simpsons cause she looks so sad/disconnected from what she's doing, but I think she's happy and enjoys what she does after reading or seeing her talk about it and her teacher.

Just looking at the videos you'd think she spends all her time in a cage, learning this stuff, and is only let out to film videos.

I'm not sure how good she naturally was when she first started but she's insane now.

Actually she was a tad sloppy in this one! Still slays me though!

Apart from her killer playing, I'm always jealous of people who have the guitar sounds down such as good wammy technique, wah wah , pick scrapes, all that knida shit....this song has heaps of it, and she's all over it.
I'll go cry in a corner now......

I just wonder where all these wonderkids come from. When i grew up we had to practice years and years...and still sound like crap. Then the kids nowadays show up and are like 4 yrs old and can play everything. Im sure youtube is in on this
