Favorite VV Album?
Got curious, so I made a poll. My favorite album is Vinnie Vincent Invasion, the one that started the VVI :3
I'm friends with Robert Fleischman and John Regan and it's really cool. You have no idea how much I freaked out when they actually became my friends. XD

Yes! :3Genebaby wrote:I'm with you.
What's your favorite song off of it, anyway? Mine's Boyz Are Gonna Rock
which was the first VVI song I heard
and the only music video I have shown my mom
never again

It's VERY hard to choose. I Wanna Be, No Substitute, Shoot U Full of Love, Animal, there is too much to love.
Love ASG too, but not quite as much as the VVI debut.

First album for me...though Baby-O and the ending of Invasion annoy me at times.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

All Systems Go for me. Sits better on my ears from a production point of view, and Vinnie's phrasing and melodies are just nailed on. Ashes To Ashes in my view is the perfect Vinnie song.
Re: Favorite VV Album?
gonna have to download asg and do a side by side. in the meantime, vvi rocks my world. there's nothing like it, really.

Re: Favorite VV Album?
Both albums are so different. Almost two different bands. I think asg suffers from one or two fillers to win and first album is so unique. That said maybe asg has some of the potentially bigger hits. As much as mark gets criticism including from vv the end rusult is incredible vocals sound on asg. I guess it was a feet in engineering.

The Invasion invaded on that debut. Though the unmixed ASG would have been close had they released it with the harmonies and solos, such a heavy thick bottom how it's supposed to sound.

VVI.
Period.
Compare this album to anything heavy today. It totally stands the test of time.
Thirty fuckin years ago and it's still fresh.
I can see why Vinnie doesn't put anything out. He doesn't have to.

Don't like the last line (kinda true though) but agree with the rest!
