What happened to the EDIT button for the posts? I feel so silly when I notice an error I can't correct.

I have ended up pressing "quote" as I am so used to editing spelling mistakes, incomplete sentences and so on. WE NEED THE EDIT

It was used recently to erase a some info long after the fact. I was hoping that like on other forums there is time limit like 5 or 10 mins where people can do an edit and then it's locked in place, is that not the case?
I can always edit so don't know these things....sorry guys, let me know about the time limit thing....

There's a few posts with the content missing, which is not great, I don't want it happening again if it can be helped.

There should be an edit but also with a tag at the bottom saying who edited it and when. I've seen it on other boards. I think mine is like that. Very helpful in debates with moderators. Keeps the truth available for all to see.

I'm constrained by the board software. Normally you can edit after you've just posted to fix spelling etc, not sure if that's the case here.
