Ladies& gentlemen, friends and lurkers,

A freind of mine who is a painter has askedme to create videos and music for his works to put on youtube.
So,i've pickup the guitar, some effects and i've letmy imagination run free.

All the music is improvised and the sound were all created using a guitar and no keyboard.

On both of those i've created the images and the music.

All the music was improvised on the spot, using a looper and some effects.

Nice work on your improv compositions The second & fourth works remind me of Tangerine Dream, very ethereal sounding.. I dig! The cat video made me feel like I was arriving at an old jazz club in a dark back alley in New York... I've got a way over active imagination
You have a good sound and you can do different things which is great...
You would be well suited to soundtracks..

I like to try different sounds and different combinations, and sometimes you get pleasant surprises.
The "Jazzy cat" guitar sound was,for example, the variax 500 in the "jazzbox" setting and a preset for voice in my mutlieffectprocessor.And it worked!!!

Like Homer the greek pote did say in his opus, "Wine tinted sea.........."

Many analogies bvetween the wine and the sea were used by ancient greek Poets, because the were alikin the people in a banquet to a sea crew, sailing together,on the verge of losing themselves in the ectasy and oblivion of wine, and in the peril of the sea.In Euripides' Alcestis heracles, celebrating the virtues of the symposius, talks of the rythmic beat on the cup is drinking using the same greek term tha t indicates the work of the rower.In the same way people were lost in the sea, drinkers were lost in the wine,finding oblivion.

As i dive i hear the chant of the the dolphins and the fishes,calling me in, inviting me.......are they real....or a product of my imagination...maybe they are sirens,calling me in......i dive and i sink, swimming slowly in the deep blue sea,maybe free.......from thoughts.......as i hear the chants i remember what happened to Nichiren...... and his phrase: "The birds are cryng, but they don't shed tears.Nichiren doesn't cry, but his tears never dry"



i'm very happy with the images and the effects, all the sounds are the created using an electric guitar.No illegal substances were used during the making of the video or while writing the commentary............,i'm already damaged on my own

Inside the Exekias, a ship is represented, around which seven dolphins are jumping.
From the bridge of the ship rises a huge vine twisted around the shaft.The shaft serves as a support .The vine branches extend themselves til they reach the dolphins that surround the vessel decorated with small white dolphins.
On the boat there is a single passenger, Dionysus, with a crown of ivy on his head,the triumphal epiphany of Dionysus as you can understood thanks to many details: all the space is occupied by him, the horizontal limit of the sea is not indicated, the dolphins are skimming the branches of the vine. The paint of the vessel is not black, but a coral red. On this cup we have the Triumph of Dionysus, undisputed master of the vine and the space marine, having a banquet on the sea tinted wine.

This time i've done something more in the vein of the "soundscapes".
All the sounds were created using just the electric guitar and some effects, and my looper.The images ,like always, were created by me.I always use original material,following my instinct.

It is great when you start with an idea and it becomes somethin even more interesting.You can be transported in a different place, that's one of the thing i love about creating music.Hopefully it will have a nice effect on you as it has on me,in the music i feel free..............

ty .Well, the problem with western culture is tha thtye associate the Void with non existence,still following that wrong concept of Descartes.The Void is pure feeling,free of all the conditioning and chains that often cripple the mind.It is one of the major differences between east and west,where is glorified the supremacy of the mind.

What i've written on the video,the phrases i've quoted, the music and the images i've created are all linked to the same concept,to communicate a certain emotion,and share an experience.It is one of the beauties of the music,and one of the beauties of not bein forced to write commercial music, to use music to communicate.

this time i've made a vid of a place i've been to last summer.Both the place and the b&B were beautiful and well worth the visit.If you ever have the chance, go there.You'll be treated like family and surrounded by truly unique places and magical atmospehere.

The music was imrpovised on the spot,using a Variax 500, an Ensoniq dp/2 and a slide,into a looper.

Very happy with the images too.Becasue of many reasons, the whole process has been emotionally draining.

It's annoying that the board software is more sensitive to how the URL for the Youtube video is presented in between the tags.

It also doesn't like to see HTTPS: at the start, which has been happening. Regular HTTP: is a must.

Thanks,Rick .There's some mistakes her and there and also the iamges run a bit too fast-that's becasue they are matched to the music and the music was a bit short- but i'm very happy about the two handed part.

the "song" is made of three layers: first, an part played with an ADSR(sort of auto volume) panning left to right,then, at circa 0:13 sec from the beginnig, there's where the second part fades in , that's the two handed tapping part,and finally you hear the little phrase repeating itself,played on a guitar with just a hint of delay and reverb.All the sounds are created using only an electric guita r and my multieffect-last but not least, a deranged mind

Because of the way it is playedor because of the sound,maybe it is not so obvious that is played using the two handed technique.

Sorry for being unclear.
