The Coverdale-esque vocals are Vinnie on the studio/album version! Vinnie sings the opening verses then Robert does all the high verses and the chorus.

I agree, the falsetto gets a bit old after awhile.

Thinking of Vinnie. Between the early 90's and now, he looks like he's gotten into meth. I mean he looks way worse than he should for his age.

My fave version of BOTS! Vinnie is on lead vocals here... from the Warrior demos 1981-82.

Hot damn! I had no idea that was Vinnie singing. That's really impressive. I like the original too when Robert is singing in a non-falsetto voice for once. It kind of kills me when he gets all squeaky again ...

The caption on the bottom makes me laugh. Not the fact that Vinnie was a fusion fan, but the fact he promised All Systems Go would be more of a fusion album. Not that Vinnie's promises mean much...

Vinnie's voice...seemed to be pretty low when he was in KISS. And then it became very, very effeminate as he got older. Or am I nuts?

Being a new fan is interesting. Most of us were around in the 80's to experience Vinnie when he had the balls to put out product and actually do something.

I got into Vinnie not long after I became a KISS fan. I'm not exactly sure ...
