Saint & Sinner demo

This is cool. Early version of Saint & Sinner from the Creatures sessions featuring Vinnie on guitar, where the band are clearly working up the structure of the song.

What's interesting is the banter at the start before they start playing - sounds like Gene is ribbing Vinnie's accent. It seems very good natured.

Gene is scatting the lyrics at this point and kinda sings the guitar solo.

Side note - this remains my favourite all time Kiss track!

It's a pretty cool demo and a cool insight into the studio at the time. Sure seemed liked they were having fun!

I think its a strong song. Another song written at Diana's house.

"Saint & Sinner" and "War Machine" are probably the 2 best song Gene songs (without Vinnie) written from the 80's forward. Are there any really great Gene songs from the 80's forward other than these 2 that don't have Vinnie in the credits?

I know you have higher standards as to what makes a great Gene song, but I do like his output from the 80's.

We didn't get Vinnie's involvement going forward, sadly, but we get what we get and we don't get upset, LoL....
