It's the same story, nobody can deny Vinnie's musical talents. His writing and musicality is fantastic, but wow, happy they didn't end up having any co-writes in the end.

I will say I wasn't aware of them working with Vinnie at that time, nor was I aware of them as peopel until their hugely popular time where they ended up with Bobby in the band, and Australia's own Brett Garsed on guitar, who both became good friends, as they could both play well above the pop sensibilities of the Nelson band, but what a ride that must have been at the time.

People probably forget, Vinnie had Bobby and the Nelson twins over to his house for BBQ's several times in the early 90's.


I don't know why some of these people act like Vinnie sued everyone. That's moronic. One of the best songs on The Bangles "Everything" cd was a Vinnie co-write and he played 12 string on it.

Wow, Imagine how HUGE! that COULD have been. Especially if John Kalodner was involved. Vinnie could have had Whitesnake 1987 kind of success. The shame of it all.

Vinnie didn't need John Kalodner or anybody to have Whitesnake 1987 success, he just needed to stay out of his own way.
