Has there ever been VV tribute band anywhere anytime ?

None that I have heard about. Vinnie wanted a tribute band at NAMM but it never happened.

Ive searched the net and never seen one, close as i will get is doning the Vinnie makeup in our band now and again just for a giggle plus so i can use a whammy bar and drive the guys nuts with dive bombs and squeals throughout the classic Kiss material LOL.

I always loved that about Vinnie. He wasn't going to dumb-down his playing for a pay check (ala' Eric Singer). He was truly himself.

yes, i think kiss bought into him. I suspect he had to fight a little for what he wanted.

I don't think he would need to have shown up, rather it all just would have gone on without him, like the actual display did.

I can't remember, did he mention he would perform with the band? I seem to remember he said there would be tribute "bands", as in plural, and I was thinking, where is he going to find even one?

Mr Weeks could do it, not sure if he can sing and play at the same time though, but he could be Vinnie or Robert, they are the hardest parts to play.

Vinnie should ask weeks to play bass with him. I think he would do it.

Or Vinnie could play bass for Mike!!....lol....

I don't think the bass is too hard to find someone to play it, the singing and guitar work is another story. Mike can do both in the studio.
