Mug shots are very hard on people, nobody looks good in them. I think Peter would look worse in a mug shot these days.

I havent looked on this forum in weeks, and the one day I decide to see whats going on, this happens! This is terrible news, the one time we see a new Vinnie photo and get to see some insight into his private, its over something as terrible as this.

Does anybody have any idea as to who paid the $10,000 bond, I cant imagine anybody doing that for Vinnie especially considering his current situation.

Dino, I believe said that Vinnie holds many secrets about Gene & Paul and Kiss overall, if he ever even whispered to the person next to him anything about Gene & Paul he would have his ass sued off in a heartbeat, so it wouldnt be a good thing for him to do.

It would be great to hear something from Gene & Paul or even Tommy, Eric, Bruce anybody about Vinnie's current situation, though Vinnie may be inclined to sue if his name is even spoken by any of them.

If there is a long trial ahead of us I think there is a chance we could hear some music from Vinnie afterall, remember this guy is probably as poor as, I think Vinnie's father in law or Diana paid for his recent guitar showings etc, so he is gunna have to get some money behind him real fast. So I dont think we will get any "new" material but maybe some of his archives released etc. Its a very big possibility.

Anyway to avoid rambling, Ill end it here. I hope that Vinnie can get past this, and I hope Diana will be ok.

DoubleV - Nope, I do not know him, just share the same birthplace.

I would not encourage anyone to engage in any sort of behavior that could be interpreted as harrassing or stalking - It's clear that V is intensely private, and it would be incredibly fucked up for anyone to not respect those wishes, *especially* at a tumultuous time. Even if this was NOT going on, he still deserves to have his privacy intact, as we all do. Treat others as you'd like to be treated, you know the drill. He's probably beyond mortified that any of this is public at all, who wouldn't be?

If Vinnie wanted us to see him, he'd be out and about. If he wanted us to know this and that, he'd tell us. CLEARLY, he does not want contact.

It's not censorship, just respect.

Yo Paulie! That's right on my friend! Well said! Vinnie does deserve his privacy without incident & VVff members & the General Public need to respect that... He doesn't need cars parked outside his house waiting for him to collect the mail... He's had a very stressful week & he needs support...

Stalking is threatening him and getting in his face. I also would not go to his house but anyone is free to drive bye, that's not stalking. Stalking is generally people who continually contact him, go on to his property and continually follow him if he's out in public. I hardly call checking out his fence stalking.

Again, don't put words in my mouth! :D I never said that it's stalking - I said, don't do things that "could be interpreted" as stalking. Knowing how secretive V is, it's entirely likely that HE could *interpret* someone loitering around his property as "stalking." And, if you were just involved in an embarrassing situation that has been plastered all over the known world, you might feel that way too.

Very specific with wording,

No worries, it's easy to miss nuances in the written word, which is why I try to be as specific as I do.

Who knows - If V is a loose nut right now (I hope he's ok), he's got some dogs he'd like some people to meet if he feels they're hanging around his fence too much! If I were in his shoes, I'd have a friend come by to bring the mail in to me, seriously.

Yep, That fence says"Respect my privacy and stay the fuck out."

That being said, driving down the road and not loitering is weird but excusable. Harmless curiosity. Just don't enter the fence walls or knock on the door without an invite.

As far as going to the trial, that would be rough seeing someone at their bottom yet it is a public place where the public has the right to know what is going on.
I hope there are no bozos that show up in Kiss makeup. It has the makings of a circus.

On the good side, it seems that the neighborhood isn't that crazy and there is a normal amount of traffic. It looks like people are being respectful or just don't give a fuck.

Trust me, there isn't enough people here to even care he lives in this town. We are constantly surrounded by bigger name celebrities who people care more about. In Tennessee, we don't stalk and hound-dog celebs. We're used to them being around. Robert Plant lives in Nashville and frequents a local coffee shop all the time and no one has been arrested for stalking him. Nicole Kidman lives here, Kid Rock has a house here... We have a shitload of celebs here, I thought it was cool that Vinnie lives close by, I'm not that big of a fan that I wanna go knock on his door or follow him around town. There won't be kids in make-up at his trial. TMZ "might" have a photographer there, but I doubt it. Around here he is a VERY minor celebrity.
Everyone I've talked to about it here, could give a damn who he is or was. Only a small amount of KISS fans care about whats going on, and he is now a pariah for being a wife beater. Just because you look like a chick, doesn't give you the right to slap chick's around.

Just don't invite yourself in. Drive or walk by anybody's home , if they are out in their yard ,just say "Howdy do neighbor ???!!!" and keep on going .

Still , I can't imagine shutting the world out completely but Vinnie has his reasons. I love it when kids get up the courage to sell their candy for school or see the kids on Halloween, etc...People cross through my yard constantly and say hello. A sense of community/ neighborhood strengthens a person's soul.
It is difficult to do when you have a mindset that is destructive. All of us have been there.
Who's to say if Vinnie allows himself that kind of enjoyment ??? You can learn and regain a lot of belief in people by witnessing the innocence in children and seeing the goodness in people.
I understand that we are discussing CELEBRITY here. I believe that the nonsense of celebrity gets diffused when the celebrity quits acting as one.
For instance , I've had Angus and Malcolm Young walk up to me and start a discussion. Therefore diffusing the starstruck fan/ celebrity relationship into a person to person encounter. They didn't make me feel beneath them and were genuinely gracious.
Vinnie can still get through this shit but it seems that he is guilty of making the biggest deal about things. He would greatly benefit from offering explanations for what has occurred during his career.
People tend to give others a chance to make amends for past discrepancies. Let's see what Vinnie does with this chance.

I can totally see a few fans showing up in make up.

Kiss fans are pretty die hard.

It will be interesting to see if this makes it to court or if it is pleaded out.

It's irrelevant if people in Nashville are used to celbs or not.
Kiss sort of trumps all that.
Kiss fans will come out of the walls to see someone once in Kiss.

p.s. Nashville is a great town.
I've seen one of my other fav bands TROUBLE there twice and had a great time.

That is proof that people are willing to convict someone without a trial.
One only hopes that those people are met with the same mentality if they are ever put in a difficult situation.
PAWS knows something that they haven't made public. It will most likely come out during the court date.
PAWS has dropped the case for a strong reason.

Vinnie deserves his day in court to try and prove his innocence and explain what happened that day.

I can see that these people are correct in their intentions and I respect that.
What I don't respect is these people not educating themselves and keeping themselves abreast of the developing story. Each case is different and I believe that they attack first and barely ask questions and seek answers.

does anyone think VV is going to sue a lot of these websites? http://www.theroot.com/buzz/hyocrisy-al ... ty-charges
They are all making him out to be a dog abuser. I don't know why he had them in his house but surely he wouldn't keep them in his house if he didn't like dogs, it kind of shows the opposite.
I actually think its sick people are still reporting the story without the update that PAWS said it wasn't wrong.
I suppose this is the way it is. The only story for the media was the dog one because the domestic violence one is not big news anymore.

I really think that the reporting in pretty poor, but I always say that.

I don't know what VV does personally but abusing dogs and animals isn't it.

He's not the first "celeb" to smack the Mr's around and he wont be the last ( its not cool to do that and i dont for one second agree with it ) BUT its pretty minor to say Michael Jackson doing stuff to boys and buying his way out of it OR Phil Spector shooting a hooker at his home and being convicted of murder.Vinnie is well to be nice built like a toothpick and not too overpowering from what ive seen and his "VICTIM" drove ok to the Police station probably more angry than injured to make a complaint, i wouldnt be suprised if she drops the charges when the dust settles so as not to drag our THIN guitar hero through the mud.

Let's be respectful. She did get beaten by his hands. The only thing that could make it somewhat stomach-able is if he was defending himself from her attack or he did it because she did something to those dogs. Pure speculation.

Kisstrooper, I understand where you are coming from. It has crossed my mind as well. She is the victim unless this court case proves otherwise.

Impossible to judge this. All I know she.was hurt and thats horrible. If she needs to get away she is going to have to drive. It's hard to know how desperate it was.. did she have keys on her ? Did she have a cell phone on her ? It doesn't matter . The facts are she got beat and that's not something to be critical of kisstroper.
the other facts and details really shouldn't be of interest unless they make them public.

I believe Kisstrooper and I also question the possibility of someone driving drunk. The reports say that Diane reeked of alcohol. If she would have killed someone on the way to the station...

If she was drunk, she could have ran to a neighbors house.
If she was drunk and drove, then the police didn't do their job correctly. The hospital would also check for this ,CORRECT ???

Yes, she could but in the moment, depending on the situation she could be fearing for her life and running through the street bloody knocking on the door of a stanger maybe not the easiest thing. Also she may have not had a phone. I really can not blame her in this kind of incident depending on how bad it was and if she was fearing for her life or not. Again this is just stupid speculating on my behalf and I shold forget about it.

I am just saying I don't know how desperate the whole thing and if she is s private person she may not have wanted to show up on the door of neighbours. Of corse Rick you have good points but I think it is dependent on how desperate she was regarding if she did the right thing by driving drunk.

His wife may have been intoxicated, or Vinnie may have thrown his drink on her. If the police did not SEE her drive in to the station, they would not have probable cause to arrest her for drunk driving. They might pretty much know she did it, but if they didn't SEE her do it, for all they know she sank the drinks in the parking lot AFTER she arrived. Wanting the police to arrest her in retribution for filing charges against Vinnie if he did indeed beat her and drag her through broken glass is not cool IMO. He is mentally ill by definition if he beat the woman whose father actually owns all of his stuff. Say goodbye to all that stuff, Vinnie, if you don't mend your fences with Diane and her dad. You gonna try and get that stuff back legally? "Your honor, this is really my stuff that I transferred to my father-in-law to avoid having to give it up in a judgment - but now that I beat my wife and we are splitting up I want it back!"

Yeah, that's gonna go over really well! He better be sucking up to his wife AND her dad or he's out everything. He needs some humility, not trying to justify his actions.

Wow, Who the fuck said that ??? I don't believe anyone here has .We have actually supported Diane in this. We simply made the observation that she reeked of alcohol and drove. If she was drunk and driving I would think that the police were negligent. I believe some of the reports said she was intoxicated. Maybe it was shitty journalism ??? I know you would be singing a different tune if she was really drunk and mowed over a loved one of yours. CORRECT ??? All possibilities exist and like we have said from the start ,we will hopefully hear the truth in court.

No one is justifying Vinnie's actions. We have already said multiple times that there is no excuse for what he did to Diane.

Lerxstcat, Please read everyone's post carefully because you just accused us of something we haven't done .

Thanks and much RESPECT TO YOU, Rick -PB71
