Economics jokes

Post by KissMyAss »

Q; How many central bank economists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Just one -- he holds the lightbulb and the whole earth revolves around him.

When Albert Einstein died, he met three New Zealanders in the queue outside the Pearly Gates. To pass the time, he asked what were their IQs. The first replied 190. "Wonderful," exclaimed Einstein. "We can discuss the contribution made by Ernest Rutherford to atomic physics and my theory of general relativity." The second answered 150. "Good," said Einstein. "I look forward to discussing the role of New Zealand's nuclear-free legislation in the quest for world peace." The third New Zealander mumbled 50. Einstein paused, and then asked, "So what is your forecast for the unemployment rate next year?"

Q: How many neo-classical economists does it take to change a light bulb?

A: It depends on the wage rate.

When drawing up the guest list for a dinner party, inviting more than 25% economists ruins the conversation.

Talk is cheap. Supply exceeds Demand.

I cut and pasted that joke from a site. It's supposed to be 'neoclassical', not neo-classical. Good catch.

I don't know guys, I need to reconsider my major, economics is too hard. I got a D-, which is passing, but I can't go to the next level. Communications is the easiest major that's also applicable, but that's where all the bro's are. I can't win.

Reference a book that references a book that references a book that references a book that goes on and on.. the original reference was most likely a lie, made up or Chinese whispers, rumour or some guy who wanted some sort of power.. fucking hate quotes and references.. I prefer to start new and forget the crap.
