Home Sweet Home...
Home Sweet Home...
This is the old Cusano homestead, it's where Vinnie wrote " A Millon To One " and probably many more of his work of arts ...It was a very tight knitted Italian neighborhood and the smell of garlic & sause simmering on the stove could be smelt blocks away. Summer block parties were very popular and the small 10 X 10 lawn area is where Vinnie would perform with his band playing Beatles music, though the house hasn't changed much since, it brought back many fond memories to Vinnie. He even posted a return reply with a quite long story and a picture of himself, flacked by his 2 Sister's in their Easter outfits, on that same lawn area when he about 8-10 years old.

Re: Home Sweet Home...
Looks like a 3 story house with a basement so actually 4 stories is that correct Ed?
Re: Home Sweet Home...
Yes your right...Vinnie's aunt was on the 3rd floor, the Cusano's were on the 2nd and Vinnie's beloved Grandfather was on the 1st. It was in the basement that Vinnie did most of his writing, composing and jamming...I'm sure the basement acted as a small buffer from the decibel level he created ! Ed

Thanks ed, I bet it was a fun place to grow up and a great neighborhood back then.. my favourite era is 1957 to 1968 , unfortunately I was born in mid 70s but the late 80s was fun too.
Bye Bye
Re: Home Sweet Home...
I can imagine the grandma and mom cooking great food but lots of washing dishes for the kids and maybe a little strict papa making sure no slacking going on.
