So have any of the Aussie boys gone down to pick at the bones at their local store to grab a bargin?

There isn't one near me so I haven't heard about it.

Any actual bargains Shramy?

The receivers, Ferrier Hodgson partners James Stewart and Brendan Richards are total criminals. I went in on Friday to see if I could put the $200 I spent on the (cancelled) Steve Stevens clinic tickets towards a HIGH VOLTAGE VIOLET ibanez RG premium. So I'd get some kind of refund & pay the difference for the guitar. I was also hoping that since my friend was working there, I could get it on his staff discount...so maybe pay about $400 (plus the $200 I had already paid for the now, null & void Steve Stevens clinic) Was told no. I regret that I did just pick it up & walk out of the store with it. Did even get to the point of negotiating a price. Was told that the spend four times as much deal no longer was on the table (that is, of your deposit or prior purchase...In my case I'd need to purchase something around $800, & pay them $600 as I had already purchased $200 of goods that I haven't received)

I feel sorry only for the workers. The owners of Allan's Billy Hydes should be locked up as they would have known the state of their affairs far in advance of the fall out.

Yeah 27 million in debt! I didn't get in to check anything out. Not that I really want anything. I bet some of the prices will hardly be "sale" prices. When WOW (cd, DVD, tv, stereo, car audio, mobile phone and computer retailer in my state) closed up early this year, the prices were terrible! I think most of the stuff goes back to the distributers anyway!?!?

So Dannii, you did or didn't get the Ibi?

Na, wanted to...just it was overpriced @$800+....Not overpriced for that guitar, but that they state 50% off...Bullshit! I can get for about that from the states to my doorstep. Was a nice guitar I must say. KTS Titanium neck reinforcement.
