He had a chrome axe in the early 1980's. Here's a newer one.

What is the reflection in the axe? Looks like Ernie from Sesame Street?!

Ah yes indeed that's what it is. Couldn't tell when on pc but expanding it on phone revealed it.

Maybe , JUST MAYBE, Gene was watching when I said on KissFAQ a while ago, that it would be cool for him to make a Historical Series of basses.
