Mark Slaughter saying something about Vinnie before playing a song.

Him playing That Time of Year for a second. What's going on?

mark bought the jackson rhoads creatures of the night re-issue... very interesting choice, he lives a few mile from vv and said to many he would love to meet vv again and make up. i think that would never happen but i think it shows he respects him a lot.

i never understood why slaughter never played some vv tunes..especially when Bobby Rock joined the band. It would have blown away the tunes they play live.

yes, its a touch better than last years gigs.Last year he dropped to a level where he shouldn't be singing at all. not his fault just age. ( maybe he could have looked after his voice a little better),

While Mark may not be our #1 choice as a vocalist for Vinnie, He has always been a nice and personable individual. A class act. I believe Mark needs to go to the vocal trainer and doctors that Tom Keifer (Cinderella) has gone to . Tom is sounding incredible recently because of this.

That's good news about Tom. If he can get better there's hope for others.

Agreed our local guitar technician Mark Dickerson told me that he knows Mark Slaughter and used to play with him in the 80's after the Invasion split up. As a matter of fact Mark Dickerson might have ended up as the Lead Guitarist of Slaughter at one point but things didn't work out for various reasons. In any event Dickerson thinks the world of Slaughter and supports what Rick says in that he is a hell of a friend and really appreciates his fans. How refreshing!
