yes, he needs not to harm himself. we are all here because he is such a brilliant musician and shows at times how nice and cool he can be. He needs to see this as the end of the old and the start of the new. all of us would help him out.

He needs to get rid of his demons with the help of a shrink and just stop thinking about suing people all the time and stop the paranoid behaviour. He just needs a little help if he can bring himself to that level life will be a good to him. I would see it as a great time to turn around everything.

the constant thought of suing people is really what has ruined vinnie.

In all seriousness, I would like to think he actually sees who has his and Diane's best interests at heart. This is a time when any ill feelings have got to dissipate and a showering of love and respect has to be shown. When it comes to something of this nature, a certain amount of decorum and privacy must be given to the couple in order for them to work it out. Yet at the same time, a degree of shame has got to be placed to the situation.

I believe that the Vinnie fans at this forum have walked that tightrope well in this situation.

we want music, thats really it. But he has made a lot of this public by doing what has been said over and over. What we want is to not talk about the scraps of shit that get posted on news sites, but just the music. But the music is always promised but never delivered.

Rick,,,He did all to himself. I feel sorry for him & his wife. But they are Adults. They need to be responsible for their actions. I fully aware that bad things happen to good people. But he is the kid who cried Wolf too many times. You couldn't help him even if you tried cause he doesn't want it. He needs to find real help. Professional help. Stop the Drugs if he is on them & get real meds to correct his condition. Here is some old Italian proverb for Vinnie, 'those who have legs will fall'. So most of US fall, Right :?: . But must of US get back up after our fall from grace, dust ourselves off & get on with life. And TRY not to fall over the same fuckup twice. I bet my last dollar that when you have fallen Rick, no one was there to brake your fall. And I bet you were strong enough to get back up & get on with your life. That's how most of US are. Hey I fuck up all the time, but i learn from my mistakes & I try to make amends. I can't just look @ what he has done (not just now, but on other occasions) & give him a hall pass. He needs to correct himself, with his wife firstly, then his kids, & then with his fans. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you Reading this Vinnie change your ways cause it just isn't working.

Dannii, I understand what you are saying and agree with it. i believe that we are on the same page.

Yes, when it comes down to it ,the individual has to have the strength to make changes. A lot of the time , that strength is found through the support of family or friendly people . Encouragement and support go a long way. I know I can overcome anything on my own ,but ,the support i have received in my moments of weakness are immeasurable and priceless to me. To have the feeling that others have your happiness in mind is a great healer.
I am just opting to show my support to some people that really need it .

Much love to you my brother !!!

Man I totally agree with you. But I really believe you or I can not help Vinnie. He has a long way to go before he will lower himself to get help from a fan. Right now you & I are cash cows who he is happy to sell a pick to for $1000.00. That's all we are.

Much love to you too Rick.

Hi all -

First-time poster (and maybe last?) - I'm not big on forums, not much of a social butterfly... Just wanted to throw in a NOTE OF SUPPORT FOR VINNIE!

I agree with the (many) people who say that he shouldn't have hit/beaten/whatever his wife, *if* that's what happened. But as we've seen with many celebrities in the past, the court of public opinion often outweighs any court of law, and we simply don't know what happened yet. All of this buzzing about is highly speculative. Not until we hear from VV will we "know" what allegedly happened and even then it's really none of our business. And this is exactly why I'm not big on forums - It's chiefly gossip.

For the record, I'm not a fan of "shred"-style stuff, I just really hate what G&P have done to KISS, and while V. is S.O.L. in regards to his monitary claims, we all know he was wronged in that respect. And for that, I feel for the guy.

Vinnie - Wherever you are, I hope you get some help (whether you think you need it or not). Your best vindication would be success, professionally and otherwise. Get your shit together and rock!

Thx for listening.

Another Bridgeport boy,
PAULIE

PS - F. G&P.

G&P are really not that bad.
They're trying to cash in on what's left of the KISS legacy.
I've met both and they were both really down to earth.

How do we know that vv has not been paid? He seemed fine when he worked on revenge. I know kiss got screwed out of a hell of a lot of money in the late 80s and I don't hear them talking about it. I am sorry , vv sues everyone.as much as he can and that occurs court costs . There is no way we can know if vv got paid properly or not. I am sure even if v was getting 10 million a year out of lick it up he still would be suing them.

Who said he was not paid? He *was* paid, but he thought he was a member of the band (as we all did at the time) and he wasn't - He was a hired gun, and believed he was entitled to more than he legally was. That's all. I didn't say he wasn't paid, I said he got screwed, and he was.

See why I hate forums? My first post here ever, and someone's putting words in my mouth already. Way to go.

Ok, that's it for me.

All the best,

Welcome Paulie- i hope you stick around.
As far as reporting anything as fact, we have been extremely careful to do just that.

When we speculate , we carefully let that be known as well.

Like you, we want to see him succeed. there has been a lot of negative personal contact with Vinnie and yet we still try to understand the situation in order to diffuse it.
that might seem crazy to some. They are entitled to their opinion.

This is really sad.

After wondering what Vinnie looked like for years, and wanting a picture, I don't really like getting one in these circumstances.

That aside, Vinnie doesn't look too bad at all. Not the drastic transformation some suggested. Just older. If he came back looking like that, I would have had no problem.

For a mugshot of a 58 year old its pretty good.
Vinnie is officially a bad boy rocker.
I got to say this is going to revive his career if he sticks with it. The path is ready for the new album while all the interest is on him. He's in an eliete club of rockers.
I am not saying what has happened is good but there is no such thing as bad publicity in heavy metal.

This is not what I had envisioned as a "comeback" for VV.

I contacted Trunk to see if he can get VV to make a statement. It's slim, but if he needs a soapbox...

Ed will try.

Speculation: When there are reports of dog yelps and screaming during the argument it doesn't look good for Vinnie.

I was thinking of other scenarios:
The report said Diane reeked of alcohol (and was covered in blood) but didn't mention anything about the sobriety of Vinnie (yet). I wonder how she got to the police station if she reeked of alcohol . The broken glass plate existed BEFORE the argument started. Could someone have accidentally left a door ajar or left the dogs with the aggressive dog where the aggressive dog killed the other four dogs and busted up the house (broken glass,etc...)? Vinnie is upset and has to clean up the dead dogs. Could Vinnie have blamed Diane for this ?

Is he capable of killing his dogs? They were basically all he had left as far as companions.
there are just too many things that could have possibly happened.
Still, no reason to strike another person... Just a sad day if you're a fan.

I guess the truth will unfold on June 23rd.

Vinnie will not give Trunk an interview . His lawyer would advise to get through the court case first. I just don't see him EVER talking about this (or anything) publicly.

This doesn't look good at face value. :( :( :(

People in the neighborhood said that Diane drove herself. Wouldn't the cops perform a sobriety test on her if she reeked of alcohol and drove herself to the station? Since she wasn't arrested or detained, I guess not.
