1. I am very frustrated with what V has done largely to himself by his actions over the years (yes, he’s had some obstacles put I his way), when things could be so different, better for all.

2. (1.) is largely why I am a) pissed off and b) think he is an idiot (take the original expletive as you will, we’re all grown ups here, it’s used for emphasis, substitute ‘big’ or something if required).

3. Generally I attempt to be at least a bit positive and insightful, or at least explore ideas and provoke discussion. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

4. I enjoy a good rumour like the next person but try not to promote them. They can be fun, shocking, whatever, but take them for what they are or usually aren’t.

5. When something is backed up with evidence, I take it more seriously and form opinions. It may get to the point where it’s proved ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ and I will trust to that. If the ‘facts’ change I can change my mind. I do not find anything appealing about blind faith.

6. Yes, I do hope he feels bad about some of the bad things it has been proved he has done and the passions they have inflamed, in the same way that I hope he feels great about the great things he has done and the acclaim they have received. I hope both will spur him to do more even greater things.

7. It is easily possible to have compassion, anger, love, frustration and a whole host of other emotions going on at the same time.

8. In all things musical I am in awe and behind him 100%, I can easily reconcile that with not necessarily having the same feelings about the rest of his life.

9. Regards to all.

VV. ...probably thinks we are all obsessive cranks anyway :D

as much as i can understand your point of view, i would like to point out that people here have good reasons to be pissed off, based on facts that go way beyond unfulfilled expectations.Yet they are here, and some are even ready to help if help is asked. No matter how bad they were treated. That already speaks volumes about them. Many people who have done much more for others in their life cannot say to be so lucky as Vinnie is, fans-wise.And being a fan doesn't mean to accept everything as manna from heaven, respect goes two ways. So,as request, since your outlook on things has been appreciated by the forum members, please try to trust-maybe separately from your love for Vinnie-your fellow forumites' point of view, even if they are sometimes not nice to read.

I'm sure you can understand where they are coming from.

Thank you.

Hi (dear) ankh,
Yes, I know and understand where everyone comes from.
I have read over this forum thoroughly ...my compassion and love is for and with everyone.

I simply choose to be non-judgmental and hold presence for anyone who is ready for a heart expansion. :P

poserboy71 wrote:Angel,
I love your positivity because I tend to be on that side as well. I don't need the extra stress in my life and I tend to handle things the best I ever have because I have been loosely following some of the methods that you mention.

You have it rough because you are a newbie to the forum and it will take a little time to gain trust and understanding of your ways. When you come on a Vinnie forum and try to spread blind happiness and love, a lot of the forum feels skeptical of your motives.
Vinnie's actions have left many of us very touchy to the point of false allegations arising ON TOP OF THE REAL SHIT THAT Vinnie has been a part of. Vinnie's REPUTATION (notice i didn't say "factual reality") has hurt him immensely.
Your screen name doesn't help either --Venice Angel sounds a a lot like "Vinnie's Angel" and rightfully raises eyebrows and suspicion . You have to take into consideration that you POPPED-UP out of nowhere after Vinnie's unfortunate situation arose. We would have liked to have known you years ago but...

I could care less if you were REALLY Vinnie or anyone close to him simply because this doesn't affect the important issues of my life. However, I do have a feeling that you are a person with genuine positive feelings for everyone and everything around you.

Our surroundings make up who we are- Why not try to make all of it BEAUTIFUL ???
I appreciate that about you .

We need you here to balance out the "CRAZY" spectrum. When it comes to crazy posts, I would rather read your compassionate posts than the disgusted posts because i can fool myself for a minute that Vinnie didn't do some of the horrible shit he has done.

I hope that Vinnie addresses everything when he opens the DoubleV Forum again. It would be the greatest usage of the tools that you speak of that would heal many people's hurt and get everyone on a healthier path of existence in our small ,parrallel, world of Vinnie-ness.
It all rests in Vinnie's hands right now.

Persevere and STAY GOLD, Rick- PB71-

Hi Rick :) ,

Yes, I knew what energies I would be feeling and experiencing from others and surrounded by when I joined.
I'm sure Dino has checked my IP ... and can validate that the IP is from Venice, CA.
The similarity of Venice to Vinnie is a cool synchronicity. 8)

I remain neutral, holding presence, while I persist in reminding those who will listen, that there is still a love-light-beautiful soul in Vinnie ... it's just buried under his life's challenges. Vinnie has been through some very difficult things. We all know what they are.

How would any of us be, if we went though the things Vinnie went though.
How are we to know how we would be?
No one can say.
Luckily, no one has gone through all the things Vinnie has been through.

There is a cyclic tangle of pain and hurt caused by words and actions or lack of on both sides.
I am holding presence so all will know that our actions and words affect Vinnie just as his affect us.
With love, Angel :P

thats the rating of your post Rick.

I suppose I'm the negative guy here now. Oh well!!!
Dino- I love your posts because you back everything up that you say. There is real emotion that exists within your words.

I just can't stand the posts by some people that bash Vinnie just for the sake of bashing him. I would also like to see that same exercise carried over to positive posts. All of us need to back our words up and show care in not devaluing each others feelings .
Angel, Did Vinnie come to your house and wash your car or give you a back rub ???

I can back my feelings up because of my positive experiences in the 1980's. When Vinnie let me "play" his guitar, it was one of the best feelings I have ever had at a concert.

I don't have a car ... maybe I should get one ... (thinking) ... Vinnie + wet t-shirt = :P  )

Yup ... never really needed one and I actually got around easier without one.
Big city life = lots of traffic, no parking and expensive insurance.

... but now I can't put aside a vision of Vinnie in a wet t-shirt washing my car.
Would be worth getting one now. :P

Yes, I concur, YOU SHOULD GET A CAR & WASH IT IMMEDIATELY while your Web Cab, is streaming to vvforums. It's the least you can do to help Vinnie. God bless your cotton sox.

Venice. I know you say Vinnies been through tragedies which I realize hurt. But I suspect a lot of us have. I had a terrible tragedy 6 years ago and I am certain others too.
Venice do you think vv gets very low at times and this is why people take him the wrong way?

it has his name written on the headstock. I think it was a protype for a possible line. Thats my guess. I wonder if he ever recorded with it.

Maybe he doesn't want to lie about his guitars ???

If we ask about certain guitars, our next question would be "Do you still have it and if not , where is it ??? "

I don't think he wants to answer those questions for obvious reasons.

We may never know.
