The releasing of his mug shot will be the first of many 'public' photos of Vinnie that the world is going to see as this very sorry state of affairs plays out. Having NO control over the publication of not only his mug shot but being forced to attend court (on numerous occasions) will deeply affect this obviously very private and controlling individual. There will be no coming back from this. My only hope is that now Vinnie can finally see what a fucking asshole he has been for the best part of his life. Stealing from friends and fans is one thing, beating a woman, well, that's just fucking low.

Wow, this is incredibly disappointing. I hope they're both okay, especially Diane. I was hoping any new news about him would be good, but this is just really bad. they thought he may have a gun. It could have been a stand off situation. My brother-in-law is a cop in the Bronx and in these situations a lot of people are very hot headed and have guns and can easily start shooting at cops. If the reports are correct he didn't come to the door at first which would have alerted them to bring in a swat team. this 3rd hand info so I don't know how accurate, but I do know a Swat team was there for sure.

I recommend that everyone request that TMZ acquire and release the mug shot photo. This photo good or bad will put a lot of rumor surrounding Vinnie to rest permanently. The truth will set everyone free including Vinnie. It is simple to post on TMZ and become a member in about 1 minute.
