If it happens, I suspect opening "this weekend" will be later on on Sunday Nashville time.

Waking up Sunday morning here in Aus I was fully expecting it to have happened during the night. Looks like it could be Monday over here when/if it does.

an update on youtube would be nice if its not happening or if its sunday now. if it doesn't happen he is taking us as fools. maybe its open already and we just can not get in. the rss feed says nothing.

He can unlock certain people. So he could technically open the members who were on the board but not let in new ones.

The rss feed shows he just deleted all the posts on the board. I think he's working on it. I have no idea why he is changing the colors back and forth.

So Vinnie deleted all of our old posts? He really is starting fresh?!

A.   He's really busy at work and has to put in alot of overtime lately.

B .  He's to busy in the studio being productive and cranking out new music.

C.  He's to busy spending time with kids and family.

D.  As usual he can't stick to his own commitments or just outright lies when he makes them, and doesn't care about keeping his word to his fans that still follow him thus still not learning from his own mistakes.

He is on the board as he keeps changing the color. The thing is to do that he has to log on as doublev then go into the admin section and go to a specific area to change color. There is no reason it is changing color, he is doing it for no reason as far as I can see unless he enjoys changing the board color.
It's strange. Maybe he thinks we are getting excited when he changes colors.

From the boxset being promised every week or so to the promise of music and other stuff , surely everyone knows a vinnie date is very very vague and should be ignored unless it is actually happening.

Think we should start a new topic & place it right @ the front, @ the Board index. Called it something like 'Vinnie, your fans offer you their help'
And make a statement that we are willing to help him out with the board, with web design, with remastering the tapes, etc, etc, etc. But on the proviso that their are no cunning stunts preformed by VV. There will be no contracts that the people that help to sign. No money will exchanged be EITHER direction for the services. Vinnie can't ask us for money for any thing. Can't try to sell just over the top priced items for his 'extensive warehouse'. I don't know, I'm just talking out loud. Reality tells be we will end up even more pissed off than now. Will be end up like the Carvin's, Jackson's, Dino's etc of the VV world. Discarded with nothing to show for our good intentions.

With midnight Sunday evening quickly approaching I think it is a safe assumption that Double V Forum probably won't launch this weekend as planned...

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday/Monday!

I have been on edge and in an excitable mood all weekend especially since I didn't have computer access until now and though disappointed that there is a delay ... I'm sure Vinnie is doing his best to make the desired changes necessary before feeling like he can re-open the forum.

It is obvious he is working on it. Website stuff is hard work requiring a lot of patience. Glitches happen often and can quickly undo work that had been done (or thought to have been done).

Please, let us not forget that he has had major stress and websites definetly contribute. I'm sure Vinnie has some sort of vision ... how he wants the forum to look/appear/feel etc. Once he is able to do what needs to be done and he is happy with it, I'm sure the forum will re-open with flying colors.

All we can do is wait (or not - the choice is yours) and show support.

Vinnie, I am very much looking forward to the re-opening of the forum and I hope you have had a stress-less weekend. Please take the time you need in order to be happy with things.

I have constructed a few websites in my day and let me tell you, glitches (among other things) can drive a person up the wall.

He's been changing the board color all day. No glitches. It's working perfectly.if people didn't know it this is what vv is best at.. making promises and not delivering. Why doesn't he learn not to announce something he can not deluver. Always delays, excuses etc. I knew this would happen from experience.
The guy is a top class looser. Even if there was a problem he was online all weekend and could have updated people. Venice you are being made a fool of in my opionion. You know above all that in the law of the spirtual world you loose your power if you constantly say things that do not happen or have no meaning.
Vinnies words have no power .. they mean nothing and the fools who believe them are being laughed at by the man himself .. vv.
He was screwing around all weekend so don't use the technical thing or he couldnt get online.
I know that board inside out .. it still has the exact colors I chose. The same words I wrote and the image I put up before vv took over.. the discusting thing is I saved all the email of all my members and when vinnie found out I was emailing everyone to let them know about genebabys board he told me that those email addresses were his property because he know owned the board. The guy is just beoyond what you can understand as a normal human.
