If the answer is "yes", then this is a start and the future looks good.

I see both sides of this argument and here's my worthless 2 cents.

I totally understand why Kev, Dino, and others that were personally burned by VV would not want to sign up for the old board due to old wounds. But, I also think back over the past year and recall plenty of times when many of us hoped that he would re-open the forum in order to ask questions about what happened and, hopefully, get him to set the record straight or tell his side of the story.

I think the point that Rick is trying to get across is the fact that it seems possible to interact with Vinnie directly with the new forum open. My/our opinions on how he's running the board with the rules, etc. seem irrelevant when the bottom line is that you have a shot (while slim) of getting an answer out of the guy. I don't have a ton of hope that he'll give you the answer you want but, hey, at least it seems like an option.

Although, it now looks like he's possibly starting to ban people again so my point may be totally moot in the next few minutes

I've read some other posts here this evening and it sounded like you might not be able to log in to Vinnie's Forum? If that is in fact true I know of nothing that you have done that would warrant you being decactivated. You have been a loyal warrior for Vinnie and deserve his respect for defending him here, You Tube, Forumco, Kiss Faq, Metal Sluge, Jackson, Facebook and a bunch of other places that I'm certain that I have missed.
