sorry, i got mixed up, not the pear, but the ed roman.

it could be fake or the company may have purchased that guitar off ebay and plan to copy it. in china a lot of companies cut corners so it maybe very poor.

i sold my Royal Medusa on ebay and it sold to china. about 3 weeks later a company used the same photo of the guitar and had it for sale as a custom option guitar line.

Yeah, that's what I'm wary of. Advertise something fake for a pretty cheap price and when the person loses their money they don't bother chasing you cause you're too far away and it's not worth the hassle.

yes, i think its a fraud myself. i wouldn't touch it. they just copy photos off the internet and pretend they have them. the mirror vv model jackson is on an indonesian site

Yes, those look like Ed's EXACT PICTURES. A friend of mine bought a couple Gibson Les Paul Custom knock-offs last year from Indonesia. He knew what he was getting . They were very cheap and felt that way too. He popped some EMG 's in them and played them for a while .I believe he has since gotten rid of them.

For all we know the Ed Roman could have out sorced the cutting out to china. I don't know. When I get a replt from the seller, I'll post it. Asked him to send other pics...

ONE GOOD THING ABOUT ED ROMAN is that he flies the American flag PROUDLY .HE IS VERY RUDE IN HIS LOYALTY BUT NONETHELESS, HE IS LOYAL. Therefore ,I don't believe he would let other countries build his instruments.

i have a counterfit lespaul you know the ones every one talks bout it costed me 900 bux to get it to play decent. replace the pick ups fret crowning .. some of the frets were popping out. ( the electronocs were terrible.......) i had a tough time intonating it i came with fake grovers that werent nearly as good as real ones...

wacky part of it all is i didnt know what teh guitar was made of since its counter fit .....can you trust a thief to tell you its real mahogany ??

i put emgs in mine it worked well for me

the price is cheap and they look great but to get it up to reliable standards it gets pricey if you wanted it to hang on your wall then perhaps it might be ok .. but truth be known for what Monster charges your better off getting the REAL DEAL.

we have all given him ample chances to redeem himself but the truth is he aint interested and he ain't going to do nothing else. i could actually see him destroying all his archives just to get back at us.

I tried to log into the doublev.forumco site quite a few months back, but I wasn't able to. I was like "OK, whatever". My friend called me about a month ago to ask me what I though about Vinnie charging somewhere in the ballpark of $9,000 for his new signature guitar. I was like WTF? That was very disappointing to hear.
