I think everyone on this board wants and hopes Vinnie will change his ways, get his act together and release some new material...or higher quality versions of GFH and boxset tracks.
None of us WANT it like this.
However, this is our best possible option next to groveling to Vinnie's current board, it's oppressive practices and outrageous fees.

As to your question
Because he's like everyone else, your good actions are judged your bad actions are judged. His tends to be by the public because he continue's to be a public figure. He is treated just as any other public figure in music past or present. He can engage and embrace the good and the bad and use that as any other artist would, or not.
Because the reality is what anyone says or writes or talks about, weather it be on this forum his personal forum or by anyone else in the world has no real bearing on his thought's or actions unless he allows it.
In summation: The only person that can give Vinnie a break that really means anything is Vinnie.
And I wish him the best of holiday season's may be filled with family and music.. I know mine will.

OH believe me i have done my homework, so dont go there, but i also give him the benefit of the doubt you see i have been a fan for 28 years. I am not blind i do not what gets said and i know more than you realise.

He hasn't launched anything lately except the guitars and catalog of which none were sold.
Vinnie's Angels is a term used to describe the ladies he corresponds with on his closed board DoubleV, which used to belong to a member here.

I think Gene would make an excellent Ebeneezer Scrooge (or the Grinch, perhaps). BobCatGolthwait may not make a very good Bob Cratchett. Vinnie may be able to get into the role of the underpaid, unappreciated servant to Scrooge (Gene).

I thought maybe the guy who sits home and boots fans and doesn't put out music is the scrooge. Not the guy who works his ass off and puts out music and tours. Not really sure but seems a bit scroogey to me . What do I know.
