This particular thread is certainly starting to feel like that.

I understand what Metatron is saying...without agreeing to how he is saying it...but Vinnie has done several things in his life that are morally despicable. You have your right to your feelings and views of Vinnie.

As to Vinnie and his daughters, that's one I will not comment on. I certainly have no insider knowledge as to what went on during that break-up. I have no knowledge on what the custody arrangement was. For me to say that it's Vinnie's fault that his ex-wife became an escort would be nothing BUT unsubstantiated speculation.

I think this board also benefits from different perspectives. It's easy to get caught in the vitriol that can sometimes gets spewed...especially if you're one of the people that's been burned by Vinnie in the past.
I only got screwed out of money for the boxset. (At a time when I was really poor and couldn't really afford to lose $150.) There have been people here that have been personally betrayed by the man on multiple occasions. Add to that the dozens of stories from music business professionals that have been ripped-off, stolen from and lied to and it gets hard sometimes to speak positively about the man.

It sucks. I have been a Vinnie fan since the moment I first heard the VVI album. I've followed his career and tried to support him however I could out of my love for his music. I feel shitty that one of my musical idols has such a sordid past, present and...hopefully not...future. I want more Vinnie music, dammit!!!

I've always been privy to what has happened with other fans situations. And I feel that I am aware of their opinions. But life is a two way street...I have my feelings too.

I wasn't talking to you GR...I was taking to the doublev board who lurk here. You've stated that you like the muso & not the person. My apologies you took it the wrong way. I was only stating a point of view that should be considered. Just playing the Devils advocate If VV had looked after his family like a real man, maybe his ex-wifes death 'most probably' would have not occurred.
(Believe it or not...No every mico txt is directed to you) :D
Look, If you love Vinnie unconditionally, that your business. Your an adult & you have the right to believe & feel about the topic in hand, any which way you desire. Like I have the right to feel the way I feel about it. Also it means I have the right to disagree with you, like you have just done to me. If I had something against you I would not have the asked the elders to let you in Dannii's Place. Think about it. Peace

That is good. Give peace a chance. I know how you feel and that is fine. I'm just like any other kid having a misunderstanding with their dad, you know its the generation gap. lol.

Does anyone know who took care of the twins after their mother was killed.
from http://forums.i80s.com/index.php?showtopic=1574
On Thursday, the opening day of testimony in McArthur's trial, Cusano's daughters told jurors they withheld the information that their mother worked for an escort service because they were still hanging on to hope that she was alive and wanted to protect her secret. She had taken the second job to support her children, her daughters testified.

"I didn't want to embarrass my mother if she was coming back," said Elizabeth Cusano, now 20, when asked by Senior State's Attorney Gary Nicholson why she and her twin sister Jessica waited four days to tell police about their mother's employment.

It wasn't until Jan. 7, 1998, on what would have been Annemarie Cusano's 43rd birthday, that the sisters decided they needed to share the vital information with police.

"We knew if she wasn't coming home by her birthday something was wrong and we had to do what we could do to bring her back," Elizabeth Cusano said, fighting back tears.

Her mother's body was found nearly two years later in a wooded area in Suffield.

This goes with what I was saying about Vinnie's lack of responsibility in regards to looking after his own flesh & blood. His Wife, His kids.
Who crys for the children.
Vinnie doesn't.

I get what you're saying. I'm just asking for some kind of proof that Vinnie was negligent in paying his child support.
- Vinnie could've been paying and they were living beyond their means?
- Maybe she refused child support?

I'm saying I don't know the facts. Please share if you have them.

Gr . Most of us were booted from vinnies boards so you tell me what the purpose is?
Most of us have seen enough injustice that we are not going to applaud him for being a crook and an asshole to his fans. He booted onefinger for nothing, some people for asking about song lyrics and some because he didn't like their username. He doesn't give a shit about his fans or people unless they act as his p.a. or 100% tell him he is beautiful and a guitar god.. so you tell me what the purpose is? We all love his music... I loved it along time before you were born and cried stupidly when vvi broke up. We are fans who are shocked at the behavior or someone they loved and supported.

My proof is it's got the name Vinnie Vincent attached to the situation. My proof is his just like the saying, where is there is smoke, there is fire. My proof is his own daughter testimonial in saying Annemarie ' had taken the second job to support her children' .My proof is, just look at Vinnie's behaviour. Let's not kid ourselves, the guy is a deadbeat in the first degree. Why would his own children be estranged. That's enough proof for me. Everyone else can believe what they want. There is enough proof within these four walls of this forum to make it stick. The endless list of antisocial & unethical behaviour has been documented. I'm happy enough for anyone to depute these facts, but there is not proof that 'Vinnie did pay child suppor't & there is not proof that the 'Annemarie the kids were living beyond their means'. If anything, I'd say, Annemarie was paying off Vinnie's debts.

There is no purpose Dino. And you are right, you did love his music before me, most everyone here did, so you are right. You have the right of way and I will leave you to it. I'm some newbie fan who will never know the full story. I surrender and you can have it your way. Thanks for at least letting me think that I could actually be a fan of Vinnie for a little while. I'll shut up now. I can hear Rick now saying "Finally."

We have all kinds of hard copy proof about his other transgressions and assholish behavior. I haven't seen any kind of proof about Vinnie's divorce and child support agreements. One could speculate about what happened and was happening...and THIS board won't censor anyone for that...but I won't. I think Vinnie has the capacity for the self-centered behavior you describe. I wouldn't be surprised.

Its okay. But you are right about that. That you were loving his music before me, before I was born. So you would know more about things and have seen more before me.

Some people might call me OCD about the number 4, but there is a definate reason why everything I do is related to the number 4. I have been called out on it before, but I said it was just that I like number 4. There is more to it than that. You better believe it...

Holy crap I also have OCD with the #4! Funny that you should say that! I have ever since I was a kid... don't really know why... maybe cause I had 4 members of my family? 4 members of KISS? 4 members of the Beatles? Oh, who knows... but it's annoying as all hell! Gotta check everything four times... :P  and just 4 good measure... :P

I have been like this since I was little too. lol. I remember being at a carnival when I was little and having to play this mallet game to win four lollipops! But maybe it does have to do with their always being 4 members to my favorite bands? Its hard to say. I don't check things four times...anymore.
And 4 seems to be a special number for Vinnie also...

I've actually kinda got over checking everything four times. My newest OCD for the last couple years has been not being able to look at a photo of say, my family, and leaving someone in the pic out when I look away. I HAVE to look at the center of the pic and include everyone or (in my head) something bad will happen to that person. I just did it with your friggin avatar Poserboy... had to look in the center of you and Vinnie so nothing bad would happen to either one of you...

Don't say I never did anything for you PB...

Thanks my brother. I too have the same OCD. Every time I leave my house , I look at the picture over the mantle and have to say positive words as I close and lock the door. I then have to adjust the framed Serenity Prayer that is hanging outside as I say it.

Wow, cool to hear about somebody else's OCD. Usually when i explain it, I just get the koo-koo look and an uncomfortable smile... :?
