We all know vv was fantastic and brought so much to kiss. No question. But I don't think he saved them.. hell animalize sold way more than Liu. We would say he saved kiss because we love him but your average Joe kiss fan doubtfully knew too much about him.nor listened to.the whole Liu album other thsn kick it up and all hells breakin loose... Kiss were coming off the worst selling album the elder and second worst selling album creatures, the worst.selling tour creatures and were still paying peter and ace as well as switching record labels.. no way was anyone going to be.paid a lot seen as most guitar players would work.for them for free.
They had massive overheads and an image to uphold.
I dont see any valid argument for vinnies pay.
