It seems it was the lady that runs a Facebook page.

Randy's long time friends are not happy with what is being said and neither is Vinnie.

Although CG meant well, she should know by the experiences of some VVFF members, to not stick her nose in other people's business.
It's one thing to have an opinion and worry about someone but another thing to actually spread it as truth on social media.
Vinnie is 65 years old and has made it this far.

Right. Some are acting as though he wont be coming back. People need to calm down..lol.
Although next time it would probably be a good idea to let people know that the page will be down for maintenance reasons or whatever the reason may be. So people can chill out.

I have never used Facebook. Firmly believe I am not missing out on anything. I generally "don't fit in" and have dealt with enough nasty folks in school and on forums over the years that I have left all forums except this one (which I just joined). I can't imagine the hatred & nonsense people have to deal with on Facebook, especially celebrities who are kind enough to interact with their fans.

If this story is true, my heart goes out to the troubled girl. Hopefully she can get some help.

If the story with the girl is true, this could be a reason why most celebs/musicians choose to not interact with fans via social media...you get people like this. And I don't blame them.
Some become overly obsessive, unfortunately, and when they cannot get the attention they want from their idol, they flip.
People need to be thankful he is on FB in the first place and chooses to interact with fans.

Totally agreed. Hope he comes back. So rare a person at his level interacting directly with fans, like friends and family almost. Suppose some people can’t handle it right and go off the rails.
