"Daniel Threadgold Firewood series..."
Daniel Threadgold is my brother-inlaw. I starting saying 'Firewood series' when one of the guitarist in my old band started showing up with Ibanez Roadstar, & I would bag him out & make him use my Charvel Mark 4 instead.

the best fire wood is Ash, I have been told!!

I think we should keep this thread for VV's guitar myself and not anyone elses. I think it will start a who's best discussion, I think a new thread monster guitar v guitarmageddon is a good idea, but not to post it on a direct link to the NAMM guitar. If this is not what every one else thinks I'm going to take a hike for a while. I am not saying it to be a jerk I just think the comparisons should be in a different thread as it kind of makes it out that we are supporting one or the other, in my opinion.

I have to say that I can tell when a guitar is going to be great just by looking at it.

Most of us on this forum that play a bit can just tell.

I know someone that asked the fella working the booth if Vinnie is going to be there and this person said he didn't know if Vinnie will make an appearance or not.

There aren't any catalogs there, which is the problem as Vinnie wants you to send a check and he'll send the catalog when it's "ready".......when it's "ready".......

Are they allowing people to touch/play them? Did they bring amps to help with trying them out?

I really can't call or text him now. They're doing MAB's sound check for later today/tonight. I'm crossing my fingers he shows up tomorrow~

You know for some strange reason I can see Pink's guitar player getting one of them. I can imagine her saying on stage,"What do you think of Justin's new guitar? F*cking awesome! And it's the right colour. Are you with me people?" etc....

We can only hope that it's a speculative price and the real price will be lower?? Then Vinnie would definitely move some of them!

It looks very good.
Seems that they have no publicity yet. We need a good shot or video.
I am not sure why the company is called guitarmaggedon but the guitar says azg. That would be confusing to explain for resale.
But they look great.

I do hope it's a genuine Floyd Rose Pro and not one of the many knock offs of the design.

Just back from NAMM. Went by the VV booth twice. The second time, I was there for almost an hour and chatted with both Tom Palecki and Vinnie's wife, Diane Cusano, who was very nice.

WIll have a full report shortly, and I have plenty of photos and video to share. As for the photos, I took many, and tried to get some shots of the guitars from a few vantage points. Here is an example of how close I was able to get. (According to Palecki, this is a George Lynch Screamin' Demon Seymour Duncan pickup, and as you can see, it is indeed a Floyd Rose Pro system, but more on that in my report.)
