Day 1,just bits of metal waiting to be welded.

Me being stupid !

Testing the cannon mount,

Me adding the tapered sides,

No cannon is complete without an end, made from MDF,

Jazzed up with some checkerplate stick on,

Working out the plywood sides etc, yes its tapered not just a square box that would be boring !

Not complete but getting close,bit of detailing and some Kiss Army Australia decals to go on,

Oh i forgot to mention its going to shoot confetti and smoke from the cannon, via an electric blower vac and smoke machine, hope our Paul (Small Stanley as i call him ) is not in the way or his wig may fly off, LOL !

LOL yep i know what you mean, i got a roll at K-Mart for $9 and its enough to cover a horse ! i also used it to make the fake rivets for around the the drum riser, its hard to see in the pic's but its Battleship grey with fogged black edges and then the rivets which will really pop under stage lights.The top is yet to go on but will be carpeted for our drummers chrome Premier Kit so lots of bling and flash for the show.
