This summer ill be going to nashville and i know ive heard you guys mention that vinnie live there. i hate to sound like a stalker of some kind but i was wondering if any of you know where he might hang out around there. JUst hoping to catch a glimpse of him...maybe even talk to him if i can.....also if you guys know of any other musicians that live there that would be great!

i think you will find he doesn't hang out . I really have no idea but as far as I am guessing, he is kind of a recluse.

I saw his so called address and google street view pictures on a celebrity mapping site the other day. Its got Dana's home in Las Vegas also. I didn't really check it out long. No one has really confirmed the site has the correct address anyway. For sure he lives in Nashville however.

A word of warning, I don't think VV is going to run out and give you a hug if you do spot him in town.

Im not looking to go after the site or bother Vinnie. Its just that when I first moved here to Nashville, I would see Vinnie periodically. After he moved out of his apt. in Franklin, TN I never saw him again. I read this board all the time but never post because I am too busy to fuck with it. However I am curious to know what the hell the guys problem is.

Just messing with you. Give us some details about your Vinnie sightings my man. Was he friendly towards you ? How often and where did you see him ?

I used to work at a restaurant in Franklin called J. Alexanders and he would come in with his old lady (around 1994 id say). He was cool to me even though I approached him and told him I was a fan.
After seeing him in the restaurant a few times, I actually then saw him at the apartment complex he lived at which was about 1 mile from the restaurant. He and his wife drove a green Ford Taurus at the time.

When later I heard about the box set fiasco I wrote him a hand written letter addressed to Metaluna Records and told him he was a douchbag and offered him advice on how to get his career back. Of course the letter was never replied to. (and why would he...what the hell do I know anyway?)

I currently work in Nashville in the music biz and have not heard a fuckin peep or seen his face since then. I know of no one that knows how he earns money or even that he does any music here in town. Reading all the crazy shit that this guy does, I am very interested in knowing what the hell is going on his head.

If you have read this forum thoroughly, you will get an idea as to how he has made some of his cash and through who.
I also believe that he may have sold some of his vintage guitar collection. That would support his lifestyle now.

where are those guitars now ? which ones did he sell ?

I am not so sure he sold any guitars myself.. the reason being he never declared them as assets in court while filing for bankruptcy.
He did sell or donate the curious RR V to the hard rock that about 90% of us think was never used while he was in kiss - like it declares on the plaque.
H must live from royalties of Lick it up and I love it loud etc I would think, plus his wife works so we have been told.
Everyone thought he was a ghost song writer for top country stars but it seems increasingly possible that that is not true either.
he has a hard time selling anything through his own name or his wife's name and it looks like TM1 is the company he is working from which is owned by a relative.

Apart from Kelly Pribbleand Phil Kenzie you are the only person I have heard that saw him in Nashville in the 90s. How did he look when you saw him? Was he in disguise? What was the apartment complex he lived in like?

It is rumoured he has two houses next to each other, some people have suggested he has a recording studio in the smaller house but again I am not so sure he records music at all.

As for whats in his head, just read suzie q and spyders comments.

The times I saw Vinnie he looked just like he had always had. No disguise. His apt (name of complex escapes me) was nice place but not extravagant. People who lived there knew who he was and people that I worked with knew who he was. I just thought it was cool that fuckin Vinnie was sitting right there in front of me.
