I hate the version of Back on the streets! Of course, it's fun to do tribute songs in your own way. But there's no way a song like this would sound better if you take away the original harmony and the melodies! Heavy distorted guitars and half-growl vocals is no kind of improvement in a song like Back on the streets.
Besides that, I love to hear covers on original tunes - but only if they stay with the original melodies and the original harmony! But hey - that's me!

Correction on the growl-vocals, I mixed that up with the version of Unhloy. But I still don't like this version of Back on the streets. It sounds very much like Ace Frehley's version with Richie Scarlett on vocals, messin' up the vocal melody in the chorus totally.

i think vv was impressed with Weeks. he asked me to buy the cd for him and then send it to his po box. He asked me about Weeks and also wanted to know who the singer was. he didn't mention any other tune.

Vinnie was most likely considering Mike for his band.
