Vinnie Played a lot of disco in the late seventies with Hartman, he sure did change his look and sound by 1982/3!!

I wonder if Vinnie still has that shirt?? I would have loved to have been Older during the 70's & 80's especially to grow up in NY... It would have been awesome!

V was close to new York but not in the city.
My wifes family grew up their (Arthur ave in the Bronx) and it was pretty fucking scary in the 70s. I moved their in the 90s and even then the g train was a no go place after dark and even in the day.

I can imagine the Bronx would have been very rough back then... The 1979 movie "Warriors" was probably more like a documentary than a film to people that lived in the area...

funny. like the get the lead out shirt.
arthur avenue is not a bad part of the Bronx and has the best italian food, but the areas around can be tough. I like the rough areas however.
