Thanks Rick for 'learning' me. Wasn't familiar with his work...Strange as was really into Jim Steinman for a while. (Todd would have cross my path as for the Jim Steinman/Bat out of hell connection)...Ben listening to the 1974 Utopia album...Got some Zappa influences in there. Good stuff.

Hell yeah, now you're talking! Love some Todd/Utopia. Man, Vinnie should've borrowed that ankh guitar for the Creatures tour!

Anyway, I've always loved this Utopia footage below from The Mike Douglas Show... crazy-ass drumset and they look like androids from the future, and the dichotomy of that with them singing this sappy, pop song (which I love) that England Dan and Jon Ford Coley covered and had a hit with. Killer stuff!

I love Rundgren great song writer /guitarist / producer.. Vin if your reading, this is how to be respected as a musician and person, productive, wealthy while dipping your finger in popular music yet not being quite main stream and still doing what you love.
